Confraternity of Christian Doctrine
The children, K-4th grade, receive Christian education in the John Paul II Center, Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Parents of the students are the teachers. The activities include: snacks, worship, music, and fun. Students, 5th-12th grades, attend religious instruction Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m.
First Communion
The children at St. Francis Church will be receiving their First Communion, Sunday, May 15, 2011 at the 9:00 a.m. Mass. Eucharist is the second Sacrament of Initiation in the Catholic Faith; baptism is the first Sacrament.
Confirmation
The confirmandi from St. Francis Church will be Confirmed by Bishop Paul D. Etienne sometime in 2012. A date is yet to be determined. By being Confirmed, they will have received the third Sacrament of Initiation into the Catholic Faith.
Catholic Youth Organization
This is a ministry to junior high and senior high students at St. Francis Church. CYO meets on the second Wednesday of the month at the John Paul II Center.
World Youth Day

Dead Theologians Society
The Dead Theologians Society is a Catholic apostolate for high school age teens and college age young adults. Through the Saints of yesterday, the Dead Theologians Society inspires the youth of today to become the saints of tomorrow. Its motto is, "Dead to the World, alive in Christ!" This is inspired by Romans 6:11 where St. Paul tells us to be dead to sin but alive in Christ Jesus. Fellowship of Catholic University Students
